<seamlikok@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian Developer, uploading.

I have been working with Kai-Chung Yan since 2015. I know his work from being
his mentor for Android related Google Summer of Code projects. Kai-Chung Yan is
a regular contributor to Java and Android related packages in Debian including
key packages like Gradle. He has demonstrated numerous times that he has the
technical abilities to solve complex packaging problems. He is constructive and
helpful and I have always enjoyed working with him together in a team.

I have already granted upload permissions for several packages to him and I
know Kai-Chung Yan can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have
unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

Regards,

Markus

<seamlikok@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian Developer, uploading!

I've been working with Kai-Chung Yan since 2015 on a number of different projects. I first got to know him as a Summer of Code student, and have worked with him as part of the Android Tools Team, where he has also become a Summer of Code mentor. He's also contributed to other free software projects that I'm also involved in. He has solid technical abilities, he perserveres to get things done, and he worked very well as part of the Debian community.

I have already granted him upload permissions for several packages. I have full confidence that
Kai-Chung Yan can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, with full access privileges. Indeed Debian is lucky to have him as a contributor!
