I support Alban Vidal (email@example.com, AE48C0F59B1998A06292A69996BD4FF64E709FDE)'s request to become Debian Developer, non-uploading. I didn't work with Alban on Debian projects but we both work both for a while in the same organization, which uses a lot of Debian servers and ~80.000 Ubuntu laptops/desktops. Alban is in charge of many Debian servers. I have personally known Alban for a few years and I know Alban Vidal can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, right now.Signed with key 54E1 D219 982E 9675 58D5 7504 6ACE DAAE 40DD 2B46
For nm.debian.org, at 2018-11-20: I support Alban Vidal <firstname.lastname@example.org>'s request to become Debian Developer, non-uploading. As the DD in charge of the French Debian-l10n project, I have known Alban for 2 years now. He has always been very involved in the translation project from the start, not hesitating to take initiative by himself, without waiting for tasks messages to come on the list. He also has always been actually responsive to everything asked from him on the list. It's a real pleasure to be able to work with such people, and the Debian Project could really benefit from a person like him. Figures from his work to date which have already been provided by his other advocate, can easily speak from themselves about Alban's commitment. I'm sure that he can become an official member of the Project right nowSigned with key 34C2 2529 6450 8E0B CC4B DE66 397F 3DB1 C97A 628E
For nm.debian.org, at 2018-11-19: I support Alban Vidal <email@example.com>'s request to become Debian Developer, non-uploading. Alban has been a member of the french l10n team for two years. During this time, he has been very involved in the team (my MUA counts 300+ messages), providing reviews and translations for debian.org webpages, debconf templates, software localisation, etc. As an example, bugs.d.o currently lists 52 packages for which Alban provided or updated a translation and coordinated its review within the french l10n team, showing that he perfectly masters our team's workflow. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?archive=both;include=tags%3Al10n;submitter=alban.vidal%40zordhak.fr Alban also cares a lot about not letting outdated translations rot and regularly reaches out to their maintainers to ping them and kindly offer his help. He is a very valuable contributor and will be a very valuable non-uploading DD.
