2019-01-26 09:38 tobi - - Sorry to be the bad guy here, but I had interactions with coringao on some occasions and I think he is _not_ ready for DD, at least not now: On mayor problematic pattern I see is that he makes some error, he is told about it but he still do the same errors later. - I think there are problems regarding his understanding how open source works - for example I observed that he more than often forks upstream to put his name in it, but when diffing the upstream and his code you see that there are only minor changes, mostly in spelling errors... (e.g cavestory-nx #906536 , blastem #919540) - (blastem was the trigger for this message to nm, but I saw the same thing already earler e.g in #870215#25) - I have the feeling he does not take copyright serious. #906536 is one example, but he has been told already earlier. - I have also the feeling that he ignores other peoples input. For example, he has been told not to open new RFS bugs but to re-use the olds one for stuff that has not been sponsored, but he ignored that (e.g cavestory-nx, pokemmo-installer #886606 ). Another example is for non-free game installers, e.g stendhal-installer and pokemmo-installer: In stendhal he was asked to not name it stendhal but stendhal-installer (#870215) and in pokemmo he did not learn from that and did only so after a FTP-Master rejection. (#884740) Sorry for being the game spoiler... yes
2019-01-29 15:22 coringao - proc_close I am canceling my Debian Developer process because I am not ready at the moment to join the group. Thanks! yes
