I support Bobby de Vos <bobby_devos@sil.org>'s request to become Debian Maintainer. I have worked with Bobby in the pkg-fonts team and have sponsored uploads for several packages that he maintains, e.g. fonts-sil-annapurna and fonts-sil-alkalami. He is a nice contact and his packaging skills are above average - I especially appreciate his focus on completeness and documentation.
Unfortunately, I have never met Bobby in person and I have not yet had the opportunity to sign his key, but I trust him enough that I'd be glad to grant him upload rights for the packages that I sponsored before, e.g. the aforementioned fonts-sil-annapurna. Furthermore, I am looking forward to finally have a SIL upstream font developer in the team.
