I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.

Beeing around the linux world and debian in particular for some time now, I 
would like to maintain the hyperscan package already uploaded to unstable 
further and hopefully be a valuable addition to the debian project.

For my everyday work I usually use linux and open source software to solve
it-security related problems. Debian has been an big help so far and I want to
give back something to the community that supported my projects over the years.

I hope hyperscan will not be the last package that fits my domain of knowledge
and this is only the beginning :)
