Sven Eckelmann <sven@narfation.org> is known for his work on the
software infrastructure of community wireless networks. Over the
last one or two years I had a few very constructive, friendly and
fruitful email exchanges with him and have no doubts that as a
person and for his skills he would enrich the Debian Society.  He
owns https://salsa.debian.org/communitywlan-team to which I have
promised to add my share of packages when these are next updated.

I sponsored backports of batctl for him which were prepared flawlessly.
In reaction to his nice packaging I not only support but asked him
to become a DD, promising to advocate him. So, here we are.
