Declaration of intent

The most important requirement for changing status in Debian is to make sure that a person actually intends to do so.

This requirement has been approved by Housekeeping Robot <nm@debian.org> 8 years, 10 months ago.

This process has been closed by nm@debian.org on 2016-12-21: no further modifications are possible.

For nm.debian.org, at 2016-08-10:
Currently, I am a Debian Maintainer. I would like to apply to change my status in
Debian to Debian Developer, uploading.

I've been a member of the Debian Science Team and the Debian Tex Maintainers team
for a couple of years. Currently, I maintain the following packages:
3dldf, 3ldf-doc, 4ti2, apophenia, bibtool, bliss, blitz, evolver, firehol, gap-float,
gap-grape, gap-guava, gap-io, gap-openmath, gap-scscp, gmp-ecm, iprange, jsurf-alggeo,
libgap-sage, libpam-ssh, mpfi, mpfrc++, nauty, normaliz, primesieve, scscp-imcce,
singular, surf-alggeo, symmetrica, sympow, tachyon, tth, maple-latex, and testu01.
Now I would like to step forward to be able to maintain/upload them and new ones,
to be more involved within the Debian Science Team, in particular within the Debian
Sage project.

I look forward to becoming a Debian Developer.

Thanks for your attention,
Jerome BENOIT
