Application Manager report

For Jordan Justen <jljusten@gmail.com> to become DD, upl., an Application Manager has a look at all the information collected on this site, has a look to past contributions, asks a few questions if needed, and tries to build some trust that Jordan Justen should indeed be Debian Developer, uploading.

After looking at Jordan Justen <jljusten@gmail.com>'s contributions and after
exchanging some emails to get to know them a bit better, I agree with the
advocate(s) that Jordan Justen <jljusten@gmail.com> can and should indeed be
a Debian Developer, uploading right now.

Jordan very much understands the spirit of Debian, and the idea behind the
free software operating system and what it means.

However, I do have some concerns on some of his skills. For example, I was
surprised that he didn't know what dh_install was for. His review for a new
package from mentors was mildly ok-ish, and could have been much better.

So, while I do believe it's a good idea to get Jordan a Debian account right
now (because a rejection of his application would be very demotivating), I
strongly recommend him that, for at least the next 6 to 12 months period,
he asks for review of his future uploads, especially for new packages.

Jordan, if you do need packaging reviews, I'd be happy to help. Asking for
help is always better than uploading packages with some mistakes, and I am
volunteering to help you. Feel free to get in touch on IRC if you need me.
