I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer, uploading.
Since 2016, I have been the primary contributor and maintainer of lighttpd (https://www.lighttpd.net/).  Over the past few years, I have been contributing to https://salsa.debian.org/debian/lighttpd and would like to step into a large role in keeping lighttpd, and perhaps some of its dependencies, up to date in Debian. For security reasons, I believe that a web server .deb package -- and that of any internet-facing daemon -- is most secure and robust when actively maintained in close coordination with the upstream developers (me!).
