For nm.debian.org, at 2021-02-13:
I support Antonio Valentino <antonio.valentino@tiscali.it>'s request to become Debian Maintainer, with guest account.

I have worked with Antonio Valentino on numexpr and pytables for 10th time in the debian-science team, interacting mostly via email.

He was very kind and understand very well all the package maintainance process.
numexp and pytable are two very popular python modules, in the science community, and it keep maintaing these package in good shape since the begining.

He is now working on a very important package for the science community zarr.

So I am fully confident that is will be a great Debian Maintainer.

I also encourage him to follow by the DD process :)

I have personally worked with Antonio Valentino <antonio.valentino@tiscali.it> (key 3B70F209A5FFD68903C472C5EBF48AB2578F9812) for more than 10th time,

Antonio has been active in the Debian GIS team for many years now where I've sponsored his work.

During this time he has proven his ability to maintain packages well.

Because I very seldom have anything to add, I advocate his DM application.

I support Antonio Valentino <antonio.valentino@tiscali.it>'s request to become
Debian Maintainer, with guest account.

I am collaborating with Antonio on the SciTE package, where he is a
great help, and I believe he would easily be able to take care
of the package without my supervision.

I believe Antonio Valentino can be trusted to have upload rights for his
own packages, right now.
