I support Tommi Höynälänmaa <tommi.hoynalanmaa@gmail.com>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Tommi Höynälänmaa on theme-d and guile-cairo
for 14 months and I consider him as having sufficient technical competence.

Tommi works on Theme-D, which is an extension of Scheme with static
typing. I came in contact with him because I'm also working on Scheme
packages, and he asked me to sponsor his uploads. I've also sponsored
his uploads of guile-cairo and guile-gnome-platform, which are other
Scheme-related packages that were orphaned until he took over the
maintenance a few years ago. Initially his work was a bit rough and
needed a few rounds of feedback before it was ready to upload, but
this has changed over the past year and I've recently come to believe
that Tommi has the necessary knowledge about our policies and procedures
to maintain his own packages.

I have personally worked with Tommi Höynälänmaa <tommi.hoynalanmaa@gmail.com>
(key 55F42477715535285CB22B7ABB861FDE40460F83) for 14 months, and I know Tommi Höynälänmaa
can be trusted to have upload rights for his own packages, right now.
