I started my journey in Debian in 2019 through the Google Summer of Code (GSoC), where I worked with the Debian Cloud Team to create the Debian Cloud Image Finder [1]. We presented our work at DebConf 2019 in Curitiba, Brazil, which marked the beginning of my involvement in Debian packaging.
Since then, I have adopted and developed several packages (QA page [1]), joined the Python and Go Teams, and founded the Kubernetes Team [2] [3] to improve the Kubernetes integration within Debian.
Beyond packaging, I’ve been active in community building. I’ve helped grow the Debian Brasília local community, introducing new teaching methods and organizing events. Our experiences were shared at DebConf 22 (Kosovo) [4] and DebConf 23 (Kochi) [5].
