Short Biography
Hi. My name is Israel and at the time of writing this, I’m a 21 year old and I’m in my final year of university.
I started contributing to Debian through the Outreachy May 2022 cohort where Praveen and Akshay were my mentors. During the internship, I worked on a Yarn plugin and some minor package updates for the Debian JavaScript Team.
It’s been 4 months since I concluded my internship and I want to join the Debian Project because I am motivated by the kind of work we do in Debian.
I’m interested in the Debian Science, Debian Math and Debian Python Teams and I’m looking forward to contributing to them sometime in the future.
