I discovered GNU/Linux at my library when I was a kid, and I've come to value free software. I believe it's indispensable for education, and as a post-secondary student, I use a plethora of programs every day. I'm grateful to be able to learn from them.
I've been helping triage bugs for Debian for several years, and I want to do something a little more creative and less clerical now. I would like to get past the biggest hurdles of packaging so I can help out projects that I think are doing the most good, particularly GnuPG and OpenLDAP.
