I anticipate that the most difficult part of this application process will be dealing with the fact that I do not have any signatures on my OpenPGP key and am having a hard time mustering up enough key endorsements. As stated in my Intent to be a DM statement, I sort of hop around in Debian doing my notion of good deeds, and most such contributions did not directly result in a sponsored upload but consisted of simple patches or merge requests.
As such, even getting key endorsements is proving to be a challenge. In this blurb, my intention is to show all of the different places and ways my OpenPGP key can be obtained; many of them can be cross-referenced against each other. I have used the same OpenPGP master key since my first upload to the Debian archive, that being open-ath9k-htc-firmware which was sponsored by Paul "pabs" Wise.
Note too that with my new involvement with the Monkeysphere project, I am taking up a pretty neat notion: I am taking raw public keys and reusing them across otherwise-incompatible applications. For example, it is relatively common to use OpenPGP keys for OpenSSH authentication; GnuPG provides its own ssh-agent that facilitates this. Monkeysphere is the same concept turned up to 11, and in what follows you will see that my OpenPGP key has a lot of uses, even with incompatible applications from different ecosystems.
When considering the following, note that my key has only a single user ID on it, that being "John Scott <jscott@posteo.net>".
