Nigel Kukard

I hold a Phd in computer science and have worked for the past 16 years packaging software. I maintained a couple hundreds packages in a RPM based distribution IDMS-Linux, which is currently in a transformation process to be a Debian derivative.

I am project lead for a number of C and Perl-based software packages including [1]bootutils, [2]cputool (in Debian), [3]dbackup (in Debian), [4]wiaflos accounting, [5]bwmtools, [6]policyd (adopted in Debian), [7]ppp-gatekeeper (in Debian), [8]ppp-multitunnel, [9]smradius (I am going to ITP this) and [10]opentrafficshaper (I am going to ITP this).

I have contributed to both the [11]Postgresql project (adding IPv6 support) and the [12]Linux Kernel (adding DVD+RW support).

My key was added to the [13] DM keyring on 2014-12-29.

I take pride in my packaging work and strive for perfection as Tobias and Eriberto (my sponsors) can surely attest to.

Further to the above I am a member of DebConf-orga and part of the DC16 local team in Cape Town, South Africa.
