Declaration of intent

The most important requirement for changing status in Debian is to make sure that a person actually intends to do so.

This requirement has been approved by Housekeeping Robot <nm@debian.org> 2 years, 9 months ago.

This process has been closed by noodles on 2022-08-24: no further modifications are possible.

For nm.debian.org, at 2022-08-19:

I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.

I have currently contributed 4 packages (distrobox, psi-notify, zcfan,
archlinux-keyring) with RFSes open for 2 more (libkdumpfile and drgn). I work
on my company's Linux Userspace team, and intend to be involved in packages
that either I use personally, and for FOSS projects my company maintain or
contribute to (e.g. drgn and https://github.com/instagram/MonkeyType).

In addition to my Debian contributions, I am a sponsor and proven packager in
Fedora (collectively, the equivalent of a DD), and am very interested in the
possibility of cross-pollination between the two - while many concepts carry
over, I am definitely learning a lot with every new package I RFS.

I would like to be able to continue maintaining the packages I have contributed
without undue burden to my several package sponsors, though I definitely would
continue to apply the feedback I get from new RFSes to my other packages.
