I support Blake Lee <blake@volian.org>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Blake Lee on nala for 6 months and I consider them as having
sufficient technical competence.
I do not only sponsor Blake's upload of nala, Blake is also the upstream author
of nala. nala is a commandline frontend for APT, so it is already a tool that
requires deep knowledge of the Debian ecosystem. I rarely had to suggest changes
to the packaging and everytime I did, Blake took this as an opportunity to learn
and increase his knowledge of the Debian packaging workflow.
I have personally worked with Blake Lee <blake@volian.org>
(key 480C30BEF10685220CBFD5EE87157C329108F09E) for 6 month, and I know Blake Lee
can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
