I support Taavi Väänänen <hi@taavi.wtf>'s request to become a Debian
Developer, uploading.

I have worked with Taavi Väänänen on MediaWiki packaging in Debian for
about 2 years now and I consider them as having sufficient technical
competence. Since they've become a DM, I find myself reviewing their work
less and less because it's always high quality.

I have also worked with Taavi as part of the Wikimedia technical
community, where they've also demonstrated a love and understanding of
FOSS and commitment to the principles outlined in the Debian Social
Contract.

I have personally worked with Taavi Väänänen <hi@taavi.wtf>
(key 3465469CB19D61E5E2EA8AFBEF242F709F912FBE) for 2+ years, and I know
Taavi Väänänen can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have
unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

I have worked with Taavi Väänänen on a number of go team packages
for 1 year and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence.

I have worked with Taavi in the go team for around an year now, and have seen them doing
consistently high quality work. Since they became a DM, I've not felt a need to do a lot
of scrutiny on their work, and would usually grant DM access for whatever package they
wanted to work with (and were interested in). Thus far, I only have had (very) minor reviews
for most of their work and I belive Taavi is ready for being a full Debian Developer now.

I fully support Taavi's request to become an uploading Debian developer.
He does great work in maintaining MediaWiki in Debian and also demonstrated
technical proficiency and diligence in Debian packaging within the Wikimedia
technical spaces (which are also Debian-based).

His passion and knowledge about FLOSS are totally in line with the Debian
Social Contract and he'd be a great fit for the project both socially
and technicallyl.
