I am applying to change my status in Debian to Debian Maintainer.
Since 2014 I worked on packaging libde265 and since 2018 on libheif and I have continued updating these packages ever since.
However, I still depend on sponsorship by people like Sebastian Ramacher, Tobias Frost, Christian Marillat, Balint Reczey and others from debian-multimedia to get updates of this package into Debian proper.
