Declaration of intent

The most important requirement for changing status in Debian is to make sure that a person actually intends to do so.

This requirement has been approved by Housekeeping Robot <nm@debian.org> 9 months, 2 weeks ago.

This process has been closed by noodles on 2024-11-05: no further modifications are possible.

For nm.debian.org, at 2024-07-25:

I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer, uploading.

I have worked on different server related bugs, forwarding patches available in
Ubuntu to Debian whenever it makes sense. For PHP, I have been performing some
transitions on Ubuntu due to its release date constraints before we perform then
in Debian and then fixing any regressions and compatibility issues in Debian.
Recently, I have been performing mass rebuilds and mass bug filing for PHP
related package transitions. Namely, I filed hundreds of bugs in the past few
months for phpunit, symfony and php-pkg-tools.

Moreover, I have been maintaining or co-maintaing isc-kea, podman-compose,
php-doc, php-fig-log-test, and other PHP and Python packages for a short while
now.

Finally, I am helping the Debian Brasília initiative as a deb packaging mentor,
and it would be nice to also be able to perform uploads for prospect mentees
instead of having many levels of indirection there.
