For nm.debian.org, at 2024-08-10:
I support Alberto Bertogli <albertito@blitiri.com.ar>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.

I have worked with Alberto in the Debian go team on some go packages (chasquid, dnss) for which
they are also an upstream developer. These are not straightforward to maintain and require a maintainer
to know more nuances of packaging -- for instance the maintainer scripts and handling systemd unit files
and ensuring things do not work on upgrades. Alberto has done a great job to keep these in shape and it
is always nice to discuss technical aspects with them. Alberto has also been nice to work with and very
receptive to any feedback given. Of late, I rarely had any comments to give on their packaging work and
would like for them to upload their packager without a sponsor. It'd be great to have them as a DM.

I have worked with Alberto Bertogli on chasquid and dnss packages in the go team
for 2 years and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence.
