I support Kathara Sasikumar <katharasasikumar007@gmail.com>'s request to become
a Debian Maintainer.
I'm in constant and regular contact with Kathara since she was in the last weeks
of the Outreachy cohort December 2023. Before I met her last year in person at
the DebConf in Kochi / India.
I have worked and still work with Kathara Sasikumar on various existing and
also new introduced Python packages since about a half year. Kathara did show
me she is able to learn quite quickly the in principle needed basic knowledge
about packaging new packages but also updating existing ones.

Especially since this years DebConf we are working together on getting all the
required packages for the NetBox Django application into the archive so we can
finally work on the NetBox packaging things.

While do working with Kathara I got convinced she is really believing in the
idea of free and open source software and want to help to make it available to
other people by getting active in Debian and working on the packages we do
provide.

I have personally worked with Kathara Sasikumar <katharasasikumar007@gmail.com>
(key FC875C834BC71FB6546250A86E25BF686AA7D62A), and I know Kathara Sasikumar
can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now
