I support Ananthu C V <weepingclown@disroot.org>'s request to become a Debian Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Ananthu C V on Python packages in the Debian Python Team

I am not a Debian Developer, so I cannot advocate, but as the lead organizer of DebConf24, I am commenting here his on-site contributions. Ananthu helped organize DebConf24 as part of the core local team, contributing from the bidding period (remotely) to the end of the event (on-site). Early on, he proofread the English documents prepared by the Korean local team, including bidding documents and announcement emails. During DebConf24, he primarily volunteered in the Front Desk and Registration team, and regularly delivered food to attendees who had COVID-19. Beyond his specific roles, he assisted with various on-site tasks and helped attendees at all hours, day or night (e.g., guiding lost people, assisting attendees). |
