I support Nicolas Schodet <nico@ni.fr.eu.org>'s request to become a
Debian Maintainer. I have worked with Nicolas Schodet on nxt-firmware,
nxt-python, and libnxt for the past three months and I consider them as having
sufficient technical competence.

I have found his work to be of a high caliber and his interactions with the
Debian community to be professional and productive.  I am excited that he has
taken over sponsorship of packages that have languished in Debian and look
forward to his future contributions.

I have personally worked with Nicolas Schodet <nico@ni.fr.eu.org>
(key 7FDB831F867FF7F97F561F7B38A890B653397A55) for three months, and I know
Nicolas Schodet can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages,
right now.

Debian Maintainer. I have worked with Nicolas Schodet (key
7FDB831F867FF7F97F561F7B38A890B653397A55) on LEGO Minestorms related
software since 2017, and found him a joy to work with, and his skills
to be very useful.  He has been a member of the Debian LEGO team since
2021, approved by me.  I very happy that he have taken a more active
role in Debian and is now interested in getting a more formal role in
the project.
