For nm.debian.org, at 2025-02-02: I support Mario Anthony Limonciello
<superm1@gmail.com>'s request to become a Debian Developer, uploading.
Mario has been a ery productive member of the Debian EFI team for
several years. He's also active in the upstream team developing
fwupd. He's knowledgeable and competent, and just as good at dealing
with bugs etc. as anybody else around.
He's had DM rights for some time, and I've been sponsoring packages as
necessary for Mario (e.g. for new binary packages). We're at the point
where I'm in the way and holding him up, if anything!
I have personally worked with Mario Anthony Limonciello
<superm1@gmail.com> (key 0B0B6E494E9D5EFB39180D9A2D192CA624770276) for
several years, and I know Mario Anthony Limonciello can be trusted to
be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload
rights, right now.

I support Mario Anthony Limonciello <superm1@gmail.com>'s request to
become a Debian Developer, uploading.
I have previously worked with Mario outside of Debian on fwupd and
helped him bring fwupd into Debian (with him pretty much doing all
of the work!).
Mario is extremely knowledgeable, and his expertise is invaluable.
While we have interacted less in recent years, I've followed both
his work in Debian and especially on fwupd upstream, and I have no
doubt at all that he can be trusted with full upload rights to Debian.
He has also been DM for a while now, doing an excellent job helping to
maintain various packages in the Debian EFI team.
