I happy to support the application of Enkelena Haxhija <enkelena.h@gmail.com>
to become Debian Developer (with Upload rights) even if she did not walk
through the status of a Debian Maintainer before.
I meet and know Enkelena since the DebConf 19 in Curitiba Brasil and had been
in regular contact with her since that time. I did see her involvement in
various (mostly non technical) areas of the Debian project since then, beside
she was not a static member in some teams for organizing events she acted often
as a person other could ask anything around organizing events. Since about two
years we are mostly in contact about technical packaging things and depending
on the free time on Enkelenas side we did work together on preparing newer
versions of some Python packages. In the past half year we worked together on
the packages python-juliandate and time-decode e.g. and moved them to a state
they could get introduced and updated in Debian.
Enkelena did show a high interest in understanding the technical parts she
needed to do while packaging and also for the rules around this. She did become
part of the Debian Python Team as she is obviously also interested in doing
other maintenance work within Python packages. Enkelena has the ability to
learn new things rather quickly, I haven't seen any "quick shots" from her
ever, she is always going down to the ground and want to do things done
completely. It had been always nice to work together with her.
I did see Enkelena has beside the technical skills also shown high social
competence at the annual DebConf's as also on some MiniDC's and FOSS events.
She is quite already good connected to a lot of Debian People, for sure also an
outcome of her involvements in organizing the DebConf in Kosovo some years
back. She is able to connect different participants on the events by simply
asking and meeting random persons. And this is a important capability for the
society of Debian as we are a group of IT interested people which need good
connection to other members.
I have personally worked with Enkelena Haxhija <enkelena.h@gmail.com> [5966

I know enkelenah can be trusted to have full, unsupervised, unrestricted upload
to the archive right now.

For nm.debian.org, at 2025-04-14:
I support Enkelena Haxhija <enkelena.h@gmail.com>'s request to become a Debian
Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Enkelena Haxhija on various things, technically and
otherwise. And she's proved that she has sufficient technical competence to be
a Debian Developer, uploading.
First of all, she single-handedly managed to organize the DebConf22 in Kosovo,
which was a huge success. She has since then helped the Bursaries team (led by
me - therefore, I can speak of her work) at each DebConf and has done a great
job doing that. I'd have liked her to lead the team this year, but not being a
DD, in a way, restricts that. So we should change that. :)
On top of that, she's started to work on packaging. Whilst I haven't directly
sponsored any of the uploads, she has made nice contributions to the project,
too. And what I like the most is that when in doubt, Enkelena doesn't shy away
from asking fellow DDs - which is one of the most important things.
So, all in all, I think it'll be a net win for Debian for Enkelena to become
an uploading DD.

member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

I support Enkelena Haxhija <enkelena.h@gmail.com>'s request to become a Debian
Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Enkelena Haxhija on organizing DebConf for a few years.
Enkelena was the main organizer for DebConf22. She went above and beyond to
make sure every need was addressed, and worked very hard to make DebConf the
best possible.
I am not currently following Enkelena's packaging work, but I trust her to be
as diligent at it as she was on DebConf organization.

I first meet Enkelena Haxhija <enkelena.h@gmail.com> on DebConf18 and we interact
personally on every live DebConf since then. My gut feeling is that she have very
good social skills, very high standards for technical work and high values of
ethical. A good example is the organization of DebConf22 Kosovo that went very
smooth and shown a very good understanding about what makes a very good DebConf.

(key 59662401165C0A3E92D6CAA5B7EE4099F720DDCB) since DebConf18 until now (April of 2025), and I know Enkelena Haxhija
can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.
