I support Juan Manuel Méndez Rey <juan.mendezr@proton.me>'s request to become a Debian Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Juan Manuel Méndez Rey on a number of Debian packages
for several months now and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence.
Juan has been a Debian user since many years now, and last year he finally made the required steps to
start technical contributions within the project. He is invested and pasionated about Debian.
He has crafted a number of Debian packages from scratch, and I have reviewed some of them. He welcomes
feedback from fellow Debian developers, and is a very fast learner. This work includes some complex
and useful packages, like stremio, CEF, and some golang utils.
I have observed Juan interact with other Debian project members, read documents, and join and interact
with some Debian teams (like to golang team).
I have personally worked with Juan Manuel Méndez Rey <juan.mendezr@proton.me>
