I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer, uploading.

I started working on downstream debian distributions about 5 years ago.

By chance, I started working on RISC-V. Combining this work with my previous experience with debian downstream distributions, I began submitting fixes for Debian RISC-V. Thanks to the previous riscv porter for their contributions; Debian RISC-V has good overall usability. During this period, some fixes were submitted and merge requests were made for some packages, such as the linux riscv config. I received help from Bo YU and Aurelien Jarno during this period, and I thank them.

I also worked with Bo YU on the RISC-V32 rebootstrap project[2]. Although this work was not adopted by Debian, I learned a lot about the ingenious design of the rebootstrap. I'm even maintaining a Debian 13 RISCV32 rebootstrap script[3] now, so I might be able to recompile the entire RISCV32 rootfs for Debian 13 if the opportunity arises.

I also assisted debci in maintaining the kernels of some RISCV machines, such as ESWIN EIC7700/Lichee Pi 4a(TH1520)/Sophgo SG2042. I also maintain RevyOS[4] and RockOS[5], two downstream Debian RISCV distributions, and I share any issues I encounter with Debian.

Besides RISCV, I also participated in the loong64 rebootstrap project, helping to provide a minimal rootfs for initialization and fixing some loong64 packages.

I am still a member of the Debian Deepin Packaging Team. Recently, I've been refactoring and submitting dtk/dde/deepin package to help it better on Debian. I received help from Boyuan Yang during this period. I am grateful to him for helping me improve my Debian packaging skills.

I believe that becoming a DD will increase my contribution efficiency and allow me to contribute more to the community.
