I would like to advocate Dominik George (Natureshadow) <nik@naturalnet.de>,
fpr 3C9D 54A4 7575 C026 FB17 FD26 B79A 3C16 A0C4 F296, for DD (uploading).

I believe that Nik would be an asset to Debian right now, as I’ve been
working with him closely for years, answering his Debian-related questions,
reviewing patches and packages, etc. and working with him outside of Debian
as well. In contrast to some years ago, I believe his packaging skills are
up to the task, and he doesn’t shy away from, say, fixing warnings in C
programs any more. I believe he will also benefit from having unlimited
access to Debian infrastructure such as porterboxen.

Nik is working in packaging teams a lot already, and I believe his contri‐
butions have great value for Debian, upstream and downstream, especially
in the education area (Lego, Raspi, Python, PyGame, etc. teams), but also
in others (xrdp/guacamole most visibly).

Nik has always been good at helping users and administering systems, but
the time cas come for him to be good at packaging and fixing Debian as
a whole as well. I agree that Nik should get unsupervised upload rights
to the archive, right now.

I would like to advocate Dominik George (NatureShadow)
<nik@naturalnet.de>, fpr 3C9D 54A4 7575 C026 FB17 FD26 B79A 3C16 A0C4
F296, for DD (uploading).

I have worked with Dominik on the Debian Remote team and sponsored
various of his uploads. While at first, some review was needed, we now
have come to a point where review is (always) good, but normally no
changes are required from my side prior to the upload. Dominik should
really be able to do the uploads himself, also for NEW packages or
packages he wants to adopt.

In fact, I think that we, as in Debian, should really get Dominik into
the circle of DDs asap, as he will be an awesome contributor to our
project.

I have met Dominik in person several times, esp. in the Debian Edu
context, but also at FOSDEM (where he has been a volunteer for years,
now).

Esp. with his engagement in the Tech Kids e.V. (bringing FLOSS and kids
together) he is performing an awesome job and contribution to the social
realm of Free Software and Education.

I fully trust in Dominik, technically and also socially, so that he can
be granted full upload permissions to the Debian archive.
