For nm.debian.org, on 2017-08-19:
I support Tom Marble <firstname.lastname@example.org>'s request to become a Debian
Maintainer. I have worked with him most recently on the packaging of
shimdandy and on a bug fix for libgettext-commons-java . More
importantly, I have personally known Tom Marble <email@example.com>
(key 884A52C4AC8ABB931D158FA840BFEE868B055D9A) since we met 7 years
ago at DebConf10, and I believe he can be trusted to make proper use
of DM upload rights for those packages to which he has been granted
such privileges by other team members. Furthermore, I am confident
that Tom will make judicious decisions and ask for help when he is
uncertain. Finally, I feel that Tom brings valuable perspective and
a good-natured attitude to Debian. I look forward to working with him
more in the Debian context.
Please reach out to me with any questions regarding my advocacy.
