Hi Steven, Debian!
First of all, I support Steven Chamberlain <email@example.com>'s
request to become Debian Developer, uploading. I'm super happy to be
writing this mail!
I have been working with Steven for years now. He is *the* person
working on the kfreebsd port these days and doing lots of mayor work
there. Steven has contributed to the installer (though Cyril can
probably say more about that part), made the kfreebsd kernel packages
reproducible and made sure bootstrapping kfreebsd works. He's
maintaining core packages and has DM upload permissions for almost
everything related to make kFreeBSD work.
Steven has worked with the security and release team in the past. He
basically has the experience and understanding of a seasoned Debian
Developer. I think also the advocations for his DM application last
year is telling.
