For nm.debian.org, at 2018-05-31:
I support Pierre-Elliott Bécue <becue@crans.org>'s request to become Debian
Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Pierre-Elliott Bécue since 2016 on several packages, mostly
Python modules.
Somehow related to mailman (dependencies, etc) and I always find his work great.
He has good attention for details, so after my initial lengthy reviews he quickly
became proficient and now most of his work is flawless at my eyes.
I even throw at him bigger challenges involving reworking the packaging side of some
things and he did live up to my expectations.
Pierre-Elliott also learned some intrinsics of the project, which makes me confident
that he will know the best place to look for answers whenever he will need them. Not
to mention that his social skills are great, making working with him a real pleasure.
I particularly value his past and I'm sure future contributions to distro-tracker
and devscripts, two projects that for me a very important in my daily Debian work.
I have personally worked with Pierre-Elliott Bécue <becue@crans.org> (key
9AE04D986400E3B67528F4930D442664194974E2) for 2 years, and I know
Pierre-Elliott Bécue can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have
unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

I have personally worked with Pierre-Elliott Bécue <becue@crans.org> (key

(https://tracker.debian.org/) since November 2017. He contributed
34 commits up to now and it looks like that he wants to continue to
contribute.
He always responded positively to my feedback and made all the changes
that I requested. He's interested not only on new features but also on
refactoring to improve the quality of the code and to make the project
sustainable on the long term. So far he's the person that is most likely
to be able to take over distro-tracker maintainance if I were to
disappear.
He is already number #5 here:
https://salsa.debian.org/qa/distro-tracker/graphs/master
I have not witnessed his packaging skills since I did not review his
packages but I am a member of the Debian python team and saw his name
on a number of packages.
With the knowledge level that he has shown while we interacted about
distro-tracker issues, I believe Pierre-Elliott Bécue can be trusted to be
a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload
rights, right now.

I support Pierre-Elliott Bécue <becue@crans.org>'s request to become
Debian Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Pierre-Elliott Bécue on packaging and maintaining
Mailman3 for Debian for at least nine months. We worked together very
closely, often having lenghty IRC chats while developing and debugging.
Pierre-Elliott showed that he has high principles regarding the quality
of Debian packages and software in general. He takes care not only of
the Mailman3 packages themselves but also jumps in and takes care when
(build-)dependencies get buggy or outdated. While patching and fixing
numberous python libraries and their test-suites he showed great technical
knowledge.
Since some months already, Pierre-Elliott has uploading rights for the
Mailman3 packages. Still he always asks for reviews before doing uploads,
which I consider as a very nice habit. In my eyes, Pierre-Elliott is a
very nice team player and I really enjoy working together with him in a
team.
Besides, I'm super happy to see that Pierre-Elliott becomes more and more
active in other realms of Debian. My impression is that he's really eager
to contribute to the Debian project and that he wants to push the project
in general forward.
So the bottom line is: I have personally worked with Pierre-Elliott Bécue
<becue@crans.aorg> (key 9AE04D986400E3B67528F4930D442664194974E2) for more
than nine months, and I know Pierre-Elliott Bécue can be trusted to be a
full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights,
right now.
