For nm.debian.org, on 2018-06-05:

I would like to advocate for Paride Legovini <pl@ninthfloor.org> to become a
Debian Maintainer. I have seen some of his work, of which I personally
reviewed and uploaded 12 releases (of 3 packages); those I've touched were
all of fine quality.

Looking at the rest, I see an open RC bug against flif, but it's in upstream
code, with the original reporter closing the GitHub report without providing
a faulty sample or providing an explanation, thus maintainer's action
limited to pinging seems adequate so far (it's been 14 days since the
closure). I consider reluctance to close or downgrade an alleged security
issue hastily to be okay.

Thus, I see no reason why Paride shouldn't be trusted with DM access.

I haven't watched gpg keys closely, but I don't see any but

I advocate Paride Legovini's request to become a Debian Maintainer, with guest account. I have worked with Paride on the fonts-hack package and sfnt2woff-zopfli, a build-dependency of the former. The packaging skills he demonstrated in these two packages were flawless and I am sure he will be a great support for the Fonts team in particular and Debian in general.

Regarding his GPG key, I haven't signed it myself as I have never met Paride in person, and I couldn't even find a mail in my box that he signed with this key. Anyway, if others have signed his key I don't see a reason not to trust him with DM access and grant him login to the developer machines. I am looking forward to advocting Paride's application as a DD soon.
