Finally :)
Nick Morrott <knowledgejunkie> has been a member of the Debian Perl Group
since a couple of years, and I'm happy that he takes to step now to become a
full Debian Member. I've offered to advocate him every now and then, so here
we go:
knowledgejunkie has seen and done everything that an uploading DD needs to
know and do: packaging new software, updating to new upstream releases,
handling bugs with users and upstream, creating and forwarding patches,
polishing existing packages, taking over neglected packages consensually …
It's been quite some time that he's an important member of the Perl group,
just that someone (often me) had to do the upload itself after he prepared
the new release in Git.
knowledgejunkie is in my experience a team player, always friendly and
considerate, asking for help and helping others, and contributing to the
team atmosphere on IRC.
knowledgejunkie is in d/control in 85 packages in the Perl team, and in 157
d/changelog files. Besides the team maintained packages I also sponsored
xmltv several times.
I'm looking forward to seeing knowledgejunkie being able to upload packages
for himself and others!
Summary: I have personally worked with Nick Morrott
<knowledgejunkie@gmail.com> (key 22B3D97BE9E898C90FF6523B3E9B59AC6EC2D359)
for more than 3 years, and I know Nick Morrott can be trusted to be a full
member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right
now.
Cheers,
gregor

I support Nick Morrott <knowledgejunkie@gmail.com>'s request to become Debian Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Nick Morrott on some Perl package in the Perl group.
Even though I did not do a lot of work with Nick Morrott <knowledgejunkie@gmail.com> (key 22B3D97BE9E898C90FF6523B3E9B59AC6EC2D359),
I saw that he had a good command of Debian packaging processes
and I know Nick Morrott can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.
