The most important requirement for changing status in Debian is to make sure that a person actually intends to.

For nm.debian.org, at 2019-03-11: I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer, uploading. My active participation in Debian started back in August 2015, with a sponsored NMU of the xmltv source package, which I took over maintenance of in 2016. Since November 2015 I have been an active member of the Debian Perl Group. Since joining the team I have introduced 58 new packages and made dozens of other sponsored uploads. In April 2018 I packaged the playerctl media utility, which I now maintain in the Debian Multimedia team. I joined the Debian Python Modules and Applications teams in mid-2018 in order to bring the Mu editor and MicroPython runtime for the micro:bit single board computer to Debian. Most recently of all, I joined the Go team to package gron, and took over maintenance of connman-ui and introduced its successor, connman-gtk, to Debian in time for the Buster freeze. I'd like to become a full, uploading member of Debian in order to be able to be upload packages on my own across the teams I belong to, be able to participate in votes and elections, and be able to offer sponsorship of package to new contributors in the future.Signed with key 22B3 D97B E9E8 98C9 0FF6 523B 3E9B 59AC 6EC2 D359
