For nm.debian.org, at 2016-08-10:
I support Jerome Georges Benoit <calculus@rezozer.net>'s request to become
Debian Developer, uploading. I have worked with Jerome in the past three
years in the Debian Science team on packaging dependencies of the mathematics
software SageMath. He is maintaining more than 10 (of the roughly 140 required)
SageMath dependencies, among them large projects such as Singular and some of its
own dependencies. Being a Debian Developer would greatly benefit his work on SageMath.

Jerome is already listed as uploader for 34 packages (33 of them with rights to
upload as DM) and the ones I have seen are maintained excellently. In his recent
DM process he got six advocacies [1] (I think he could have gone for NM right away).

I have personally worked with Jerome Georges Benoit <calculus@rezozer.net>
(key AE28AE15710DFF1D87E5A7623F9219A67F36C68B) for three years, and I know he
can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted
upload rights, right now.

I have been working with Jerome BENOIT <calculus@rezozer.net>
	0x3F9219A67F36C68B
since about 4 years, mainly as sponsor for his TeX related packages
bibtool and 3dldf. He has shown very good packaging qualities
and has consistently maintained and kept bibtool in an excellent state.

I fully trust him and I am strongly suggesting to approve him after the
necessary procedures to full DD status, including full upload to the
archive rights.

I believe that Jerome BENOIT <calculus@rezozer.net>
(AE28AE15710DFF1D87E5A7623F9219A67F36C68B)
has the technical skills needed to manage Debian
packages. I support his application to become a Debian Developper, because
Jerome proved his capability to maintain several packages, following Debian
best practices. He also at multiple times dedicated time to package debug
on many different archs and is very serious in his work.
He is already a DM for several packages and proved to be valuable to Debian.

I already supported hom to be a DM [1]

I support Jerome Georges Benoit <calculus@rezozer.net>'s request to become
Debian Developer, uploading. I have previously supported his application
for DM status here:

  https://lists.debian.org/debian-newmaint/2016/06/msg00006.html

And my rationale is the same as that given at the time of the DM advocation;
that is, that he applies great attention to detail and takes the
responsibilities required of a Maintainer and a Developer seriously. In our
work over the past 3 years, he has demonstrated the ability to act
appropriately of his own accord and to seek the advice of others when
warranted.

Therefore, I welcome his intent to become a DD.

Thank you,
tony
