both JavaScript and Perl team. I sponsored some of his packages. Utkarsh
learns very fast and has always provided quality work. Dynamic and
voluntary, he does not hesitate to work on complex subjects.

He's been a valuable member fof the Ruby team, helping with the maintainance of
a large number of packages. He's been a DM for while, was a GSOC intern this
year and is already willing to mentor new people for Outreach in the upcoming
round. I also met him at this year DebConf, and it was a pleasure to inteact
with him. I believe making him a uploading Debian Developer will be a net win
for Debian overall.

I have worked with Utkarsh Gupta on ruby, javascript and golang packages for 9
months time and I would like to be able to upload packages without a sponsor.

I have sponsored a large number of his packages, I have worked with him in
organizing DebUtsavs (Conference with Debian + rest of Free Software sessions
in parallel - https://debutsav.in) in Delhi and Goa. I have also seen him
mentoring new people to start contributing to Debian. After the initial days
of sponsoring I did not have to give him a lot of feedback, his packages were
of good quality. He also helps in maintaining gitlab and
https://fasttrack.debian.net service.
