I support Paride Legovini <pl@ninthfloor.org>'s request to become
Debian Developer, uploading.

I have worked with Paride on a bunch of Debian Science packages for a
year already and I rarely needed to give him advice on how to proceed
on packaging stuff and choose the right thing to do to get the work
done for the best.

I have personally worked with Paride Legovini <pl@ninthfloor.org> (key
1BD886F246FD490879D4E1505A09B4576DE8080E) for enough time now to
ensure that Paride Legovini can be trusted to be a full member of
Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

I would like to advocate Paride Legovini for full DD status.

I have advocated him for DM in the past, and I've reviewed+sponsored a bunch
of his packages (16 uploads, 6 unique). Of course, the frequency of reviews
has drastically decreased since Paride moved to self-checkout (DM), but I
see that packages he maintains are consistently in a good shape. And that's
49 packages, some of them (iw, irqbalance) of very high popcon.

I thus believe it's time to give him full unrestricted upload rights.

Key 1BD886F246FD490879D4E1505A09B4576DE8080E is already in the DM keyring.

I have worked with Paride on the fonts-hack and fonts-ibm-plex packages, and especially during the development of the latter we had a fruitful discussion in which he showed a lot of technical understanding. Furthermore, I have sponsored some other uploads for him, e.g. sfnt2woff-zopfli comes to mind. Paride's packaging work has so far been flawless and he is always a nice contact.

Unfortunately, I have never met Paride in person and thus had no chance to sign his key 1BD886F246FD490879D4E1505A09B4576DE8080E, but would do so whenever I get the chance to. I trust Paride enough to suggest him to become a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.
