I support Shayan Doust <hello@shayandoust.me>'s request to become Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Shayan in the Debian Med project for several monthes. He joined Debian Med via the Mentoring of the Month project. Shayan was very quick in learning packaging skills and has contributed several new packages since then. Shayan also contributed to the Debian Med COVID-19 sprint very valuable work. He became one of the most active members of the Debian Med team.
I'd be very happy if Shayan Doust would become upload rights for his own packages since I fully trust him to do self standing work.
