I hereby advocate François Mazen to become a Debian Maintainer.
I've sponsored François' solfege across a couple of years now and I can say he has a clear understanding of the Debian policy. He keeps his package in really good shape, has good practices and keeps synced up with new policies updates quickly.
I was glad to see that François contributes to improve the FLOSS ecosystem by forwarding upstream his patches on his own.
I consider he is perfectly prepared to be Debian maintainer!
