I have sponsored several packages of Pierre Gruet. He came to the
Debian Med team in our COVID-19 hackathon and started with some bug
fixing. Once it turned out that he has quite some competence in Java
packaging he took over several Java packages (new and existing ones)
which is a really big win for our team. I admit I wished Pierre would
become a DM rather sooner than later to enable him working self-standing
since I fully trust his competence.
