Dear NM,

I support Timo Röhling <timo@gaussglocke.de>'s request to become a
Debian Maintainer. I've been working with Timo for roughly a year on
the QHull library, https://salsa.debian.org/science-team/qhull, and
they've basically taken over all the heavy lifting, very politely.
Timo does a careful thorough job, and they know what they're doing,
and are very familiar with all the involved technical issues both on
the general library side and on the Debian packaging side. Timo is
already an asset to the Debian project. I have no reservations in
advocating Timo's application.

Yours Truly,

Barak A. Pearlmutter <bap@debian.org>

I advocate Timo Röhling <timo@gaussglocke.de> to be a Debian Maintainer.
I've been working with him for some years on ros-catkin-lint, open3d (plus dependencies) and qhull packages, all within the debian-science team.
He has shown a high competence in working with the Debian package system (including dh details and symbol files for C++ packages) as well as fixing upstream issues.

I have been communicating with Timo using this PGP keys:
