I support Julien Lamy <lamy@unistra.fr>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer, with guest account.
I have worked with Julien Lamy on xsimd package for many months.
And several months ago, I also sponsored an upload for odil package for them,
and found all their packaging work in almost perfect shape, and I would upload with very minor nitpicks.

Julien is also the upstream of odil package, and has been maintaining that package very well for more than
five years by now. Recently, they also packaged xsimd, and have been doing nice work there. They even took
a step forward, tried to debug its build issues for different architectures, and also talks with upstream for
collaborating better.

Julien also responds to suggestions quickly, and does their packaging work well, and is friendly to
work with. I also signed their request for access to porter machines, so I am convinced that they should become
a DM effectively right now, and have access to porter machines that they'd like access on (i.e. DM+GA)

I have personally worked with Julien Lamy <lamy@unistra.fr>
(key 8BDD013080E9A0E8C0D6A1573B365DE93EBD1CD4) for many months, and I know Julien Lamy
can be trusted to become and Debian Maintainer right now.
