This page collects statements of advocacy for Thomas Ward <teward@ubuntu.com> to become a Debian Maintainer.

See here for details about advocating someone to be a Debian Maintainer. You should be familiar with their existing work within Debian and believe it to be of a sufficient standard that they can be trusted with upload rights to the packages they maintain.

Please be verbose if you can. You may want to write the advocacy in a proper text editor and paste it in the form when you are happy with it.

For nm.debian.org, at 2022-03-18:
I support Thomas Ward <teward@ubuntu.com>'s request to become a Debian Maintainer.
I've sponsored a bunch of uploads of xca (4) and vmfs6-tools (3) for Thomas,
and they were fully adequate. While usually I'd require a longer history to
advocate someone, Thomas is an experienced Ubuntu person, and while Ubuntu's
workflows differ from that of Debian, most of the skills apply.

Thus, let's unleash him on his own packages.

Key 5792F66164D057EFC6D06FAF5B8AD6F4C26ADDDD was used to sign packages I
downloaded from mentors.d.n, and I have seen no other keys for "Thomas Ward"
at least in this regard.
