For nm.debian.org, at 2022-05-13:

I support Alec Leamas <leamas.alec@gmail.com>'s request to become a
Debian Maintainer. I have sponsored Alec Leamas on opencpn since almost
two years and and I consider him as having sufficient technical
competence, so I suggested him to apply for DM a few days ago.

His contributions were always of high quality and there I think he
should be able to upload the packages he maintains.

I have personally worked with Alec Leamas <leamas.alec@gmail.com> and
I know Alec Leamas can be trusted to have upload rights for their
own packages, right now.

(The key in the DM application E2EA41DCE2F8A99AD17A1E463A67D5D966D15C5C
is quite new, as Alecs old key, C145797379871C082A9DFDB50A1DA7134E068B4C
had only 2048 bits.)

I have worked with Alec using his old key C145797379871C082A9DFDB50A1DA7134E068B4C
for about 2 years and will be able to endorse his new key, once the
paperwork on the key transition is completed.

I support Alec Leamas <leamas.alec@gmail.com>'s request to become a
Debian Maintainer. I have sponsored Alec Leamas on lirc, libirman, ddupdate
and more since 2016 and I'm really happy to see him apply for DM, and I hope to
see him apply as DD soon too.

His contributions were always of high quality and there I think he
should be able to upload the packages he maintains, he brought lirc into
a good shape in 2016 after lots of uploads and changes to make it suite
a stable release.

I have personally worked with Alec Leamas <leamas.alec@gmail.com> and
I know Alec Leamas can be trusted to have upload rights for their
own packages, right now.

I have worked with Alec for about 6 years, and I hope to grant him
upload privileges for the packages he maintains as soon as the key
is fully endorsed.
