I support Phil Morrell <debian@emorrp1.name>'s request to become
a Debian Maintainer.

Whilst I have not sponsored any of his packages I believe Phil has
contacted other DDs for the technical angles of his DM advocacy.
However, I would endorse Phil's application through his
constructive social contributions such as on Reddit and other
fora.

I support Phil Morrell <debian@emorrp1.name>'s request to become
a Debian Maintainer.

I have sponsored in the past corsix-th for him, without many troubles,
and I appreciated his work wrt copyrights, and lintianl cleanliness of the
packages he maintains.

He cares to fix bugs, and to quickly react in case of issues (e.g. #821415)

He won't really benefit from having to double check his work, he can at least
upload this package alone

Regards,

Gianfranco

I support Phil Morrell <debian@emorrp1.name>'s (key 2C429F5DD6B7F023BD300993453F8D999F113609) request to become Debian Maintainer.

I have worked with Phil Morrell on corsix-th, play.it and scorched3d. I think he has a good understanding of Debian packaging, our Git workflows and communication channels and all his contributions to the Debian Games Team were very solid. I am convinced he will continue in the same spirit. I hope we will see more contributions from him in the future and being a Debian maintainer would definitely support the Games Team which is in need of active contributors who can work on their packages independently.

I know Phil Morrell can be trusted to have upload rights for his own packages, right now.
