I support Gard Spreemann <gspreemann@gmail.com>'s (key CFC5EF8510851E7355B55E809D11582AFD548CFA) request to become Debian Maintainer.
I have worked with Gard Spreemann on tikzit and I found that I only ever needed to do minor or no changes at all to his work before uploading.
He seems to be technically competent and follows the best practices on his own.

I think Gard Spreemann can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.

I have worked with Gard Spreemann only on lbfgsb and I don't remember having to ask for changes, at least after the initial upload.

I think Gard Spreemann can be trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
