This page collects statements of advocacy for Thiago Andrade <andrade@debian.org> to become a Debian Maintainer.

I support Thiago Andrade Marques <thmarques@gmail.com>'s (key

Maintainer.

I have personally worked with Thiago in last months over several
packages. Thiago successfully packaged educational programs created by
me, all available at http://debianet.com.br (hello-newbie, hello-galaxy,
hello-salad, hello-old, hello-destructor and hello-nightmare).

On Debian I acted as sponsor for Thiago in following situations:

  - ITP: dnsmap, dothost and st-console.
  - ITA: rdate.
  - NMU: fbcat.
  - QA upload: fet, jetring (native), splitpatch, udo and xmldiff.
  - TEAM upload: unhide and winregfs.

Thiago works very well with packaging and is learning about libraries
now. He is also working in Debian Security Tools Packaging Team since
October and is doing a nice work. He intends to be a DD in future.

I confirm that Thiago has all needed skills to maintain its packages
without supervision. In other words, Thiago Andrade Marques can be
trusted to have upload rights for their own packages, right now.
