I would like to apply to change my status in Debian to Debian Developer,
uploading.
I am a Debian user for nearly 20 years. My first contributions to Debian
happened during GSoC 2018, where I worked on the SSO project.
After GSoC I began contributing to Debian by taking over the usbguard package
and soon after started to help maintaining the debian-timeline. A couple of
months later I stumbled over the Sway packaging efforts and then helped getting
the Sway compositor into shape and uploaded to the archive. Related to Sway
there are also a couple of other packages I maintain as part of the Sway
packaging team.
I would like to be able to upload packages to NEW without having to bother
sponsors - I was always able to find someone to sponsor uploads or give me
upload permission, but I think there are other areas in the project where I
could spend that time more productive.
I also would like to be able to help other people get their packages into
Debian.
